Adjusting Text Size

We have a tool for you to increase and decrease the size of the text on our pages (check out the tool in the right menu). Look for the icons that looks like the sample ones above. The left icon above is the "Increase text size" tool and the icon on the right is "Decrease text size". The above icons are samples only - they won't work after you leave this page. Use the icons on the right menu instead.

We also realize that many other websites do not provide this kind of functionality. So what happens if you’re on a website and increase or decrease the text size to your liking, but then visit another page that does not have a text resizer? By managing the settings of your browser (such as Internet Explorer or Safari), you can ensure that your preferences in terms of text size are displayed no matter what website you visit.

Each browser is different, but here are some tips on text resizing in some of the most popular browsers:

Internet Explorer

  1. Go to the “View” menu
  2. Scroll down to “Text Size”
  3. Choose between “Largest, larger, medium, smaller and smallest” depending on your preference.

Firefox and Netscape

  1. Go to the “View” menu
  2. Scroll down to “Text Size”
  3. Choose between “Increase” and “Decrease” depending on your preference.

Note: This can also be done with a keyboard shortcut. If you’d like to increase the text size, hold down the “Ctrl” and hit ”+” twice (if you’re using a Mac, the process is to hold the Command key and hit ”+”.). To decrease, simply follow the same procedure and use the ”-” key instead of the ”+”.
